Online bookkeeping cleanup across Canada
We help growing Canadian small and mid-sized businesses clean up months or years of bookkeeping.
Why bookkeeping cleanup matters
See where your cash went
When your books fall behind, it’s harder to see what came in, what went out, and what’s still owed. Reconciled records give you a clearer picture of your cash flow.
Get ready for tax season
Outdated books can delay tax filings and make everyday decisions harder. Catching up gives you current records for reporting, tax preparation, or a potential business sale.
Our goal is to give you reliable books and a clean starting point for your next stage of growth.
What Our Bookkeeping Cleanup Covers
We review historical bank statements, vendor bills, and customer invoices to bring past periods up to date and build a reliable starting point for ongoing bookkeeping.
Catch-up financial reports
Get a profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement for the periods we clean up, with prior-period comparisons.
Prior-period cleanup and catch-up
We correct and categorize past transactions, resolve bookkeeping errors, and bring your records up to date. We can also maintain the books afterward.
Prior-period sales tax review
We review past GST/HST and PST filings, identify adjustments needed in the books, and get your records ready for future filings.
Adjustments and accruals
We review opening balances, deferred items, and accruals so future bookkeeping starts from the right figures.
Accounts payable and receivable cleanup
We reconcile old supplier bills and customer invoices to clarify who you owe and what customers still owe you.
Comprehensive bank reconciliations
We reconcile prior-period bank statements and record missing transactions, whether you’re 12, 24, or more months behind.
Software cleanup and migrations
We clean up the records in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or a legacy system and help move them to another platform when needed.
Automation and workflow setup
We set up bank feeds and vendor and customer tracking so it’s easier to keep records up to date.
Receipt capture
We set up digital receipt capture so supporting documents are easier to organize and find.

I needed someone to automate my shopify with Quickbooks. Samuel was able to do this and now I only spend 1 hour per month on bookkeeping. A lot better than the hours I spent trying to figure it all out.

How Online Bookkeeping Cleanup Works
Get started in only 3 steps. Ready to be engaged? No work starts until you say yes.
Step 1 – Book a Free Consult
Tell us where you are with your books. Share which software you use, how far behind you are, and any deadlines. Following the call, you’ll receive an engagement letter to sign. Once signed, we start working.
Step 2 – Learning the Ropes
Learning how you work. We take our first look at your books. No need to do any cleanup. We discuss and figure out how things are moving, what needs to be cleaned up, what needs change, what can be improved, what should be kept the same.
Step 3 – Cleanup until Clean
Ongoing cleaning until books are current. We clean your books on a weekly basis. This is billed per hour. Along the way we ask questions about your books to clarify. Week after week, we repeat the process until your books are current.
